AI4CE (Artificial Intelligence for Coalition Education) Service provided by EGCED, Inc.

This Privacy Policy is established and disclosed to protect users' personal information and to promptly and smoothly handle related grievances in accordance with relevant laws such as the Personal Information Protection Act and the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection in the process of providing AI4CE Defense Educational AI Service (hereinafter referred to as "Service").

Article 1 (Purpose of Personal Information Processing)

AI4CE processes personal information for the following purposes. The personal information being processed shall not be used for purposes other than the following, and if the purpose of use is changed, necessary measures such as obtaining separate consent in accordance with Article 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act will be implemented.

Crisis situation monitoring and analysis education
Individual learning progress management and performance analysis

2. AI Service Improvement and Optimization

Learning and performance improvement of conversational AI models
Quality improvement of Text-to-Speech (TTS) services
Provision of user-customized educational content
Service improvement through usage pattern analysis

3. Member Management and Service Operation

Confirmation of membership registration intention, identification and authentication for membership services
Maintenance and management of membership qualifications, prevention of service misuse
Record preservation for various notices, notifications, grievance handling, and dispute resolution

Article 2 (Personal Information Processing and Retention Period)

1. Personal Information Processing Period

AI4CE processes and retains personal information within the personal information retention and use period prescribed by law or the personal information retention and use period agreed upon when collecting personal information from data subjects.

Member Information: Until membership withdrawal (However, if investigation or inquiry for violation of related laws is in progress, until the completion of such investigation or inquiry)
Educational History Information: 3 years (Military education record retention obligation)
AI Learning Data: 5 years (For service quality improvement purposes)
Voice Data: 1 year (For TTS service improvement purposes, processed in a form that cannot identify individuals)
Service Usage Records: 3 months (However, if there is a retention period prescribed by related laws, such period applies)

Article 4 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)

1. Principles of Third Party Provision

AI4CE processes personal information only within the scope specified in Article 1 (Purpose of Personal Information Processing), and provides personal information to third parties only when it corresponds to cases under Articles 17 and 18 of the Personal Information Protection Act, such as consent from data subjects or special provisions of law.

Recipients: TTS service providers such as ElevenLabs
Purpose of Provision: Voice synthesis service provision
Items Provided: Text data (excluding personal information)
Retention and Use Period: Immediate deletion upon completion of voice generation

Article 5 (Personal Information Processing Consignment)

1. Content of Consigned Work and Consignees

AI4CE consigns personal information processing work as follows for smooth personal information processing.

Consignee: Supabase Inc.
Consigned Work: Database management and user authentication services
Personal Information Retention and Use Period: Until termination of consignment contract
Consignee: Stripe Inc.
Consigned Work: Payment processing and subscription management
Personal Information Retention and Use Period: Legal retention period for payment-related matters

2. Management and Supervision of Consigned Work

When concluding consignment contracts, AI4CE specifies in documents such as contracts matters concerning prohibition of personal information processing other than the purpose of consigned work performance, technical and administrative protective measures, restrictions on re-consignment, management and supervision of consignees, and responsibilities including damage compensation in accordance with Article 26 of the Personal Information Protection Act, and supervises whether consignees safely process personal information.

Article 6 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects and Legal Representatives and Methods of Exercise)

1. Rights of Data Subjects

Data subjects may exercise the following personal information protection-related rights against AI4CE at any time:

Request for notification of personal information processing status
Request for access to personal information
Request for correction and deletion of personal information
Request for suspension of personal information processing

2. Methods of Exercising Rights

The exercise of rights under Paragraph 1 may be made in writing, by email, or by fax in accordance with Article 41, Paragraph 1 of the Enforcement Decree of the Personal Information Protection Act, and AI4CE will take measures without delay.

3. Precautions When Exercising Rights

When a data subject requests correction or deletion of errors in personal information, AI4CE will not use or provide the personal information until the correction or deletion is completed.

Article 7 (Destruction of Personal Information)

1. Principles of Destruction

AI4CE destroys personal information without delay when personal information becomes unnecessary due to expiration of retention period, achievement of processing purpose, etc.

2. Destruction Procedures

Information entered by users is transferred to a separate DB (separate documents in case of paper) after achieving the purpose and stored for a certain period according to internal policies and other related laws, or destroyed immediately.
Personal information transferred to DB is not used for other purposes except as required by law.

3. Destruction Methods

Information in electronic file format uses technical methods that cannot reproduce records.
Personal information printed on paper is destroyed by shredding or incineration.

Article 8 (Measures to Ensure Safety of Personal Information)

AI4CE implements the following technical, administrative, and physical measures necessary to ensure safety in accordance with Article 29 of the Personal Information Protection Act.

1. Minimization and Education of Personal Information Handling Staff

We designate staff who handle personal information and limit them to those in charge to minimize and implement measures to manage personal information.

2. Regular Internal Audits

We conduct regular internal audits (at least once per quarter) to ensure stability related to personal information handling.

3. Encryption of Personal Information

Users' personal information passwords are encrypted and stored and managed so that only the user can know them, and important data uses separate security functions such as encrypting files and transmission data or using file lock functions.

4. Technical Measures Against Hacking

To prevent leakage and damage of personal information by hacking or computer viruses, we install security programs and conduct periodic updates and inspections, install systems in areas controlled from external access, and monitor and block technically and physically.

5. Access Restriction to Personal Information

We take necessary measures for access control to personal information by granting, changing, and revoking access rights to database systems that process personal information, and control unauthorized access from outside using intrusion prevention systems.

AI4CE designates a personal information protection officer as follows to take overall responsibility for personal information processing and to handle complaints and remedy damages related to personal information processing by data subjects.

2. Methods for Relief of Rights Violations

Data subjects may inquire about personal information infringement reports and consultations to the Personal Information Infringement Report Center, Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee, Supreme Prosecutors' Office Cyber Crime Investigation Unit, and National Police Agency Cyber Safety Bureau.

Article 10 (Changes to Personal Information Processing Policy)

1. Notice of Revision

This personal information processing policy applies from the effective date, and if there are additions, deletions, and corrections of changes according to laws and policies, it will be notified through announcements from 7 days before the implementation of changes.

2. Important Changes

In case of important changes in user rights such as changes in the purpose of personal information collection and use, changes in third-party provision targets, we will notify at least 30 days in advance and may obtain consent again if necessary.

Article 11 (Special Provisions for AI Services)

1. AI Learning Data Utilization

Conversation content generated during service use may be utilized for AI model learning and service improvement purposes.
Personal identification information is processed in a removed state, and content corresponding to sensitive or confidential information undergoes separate filtering processes.
Users may refuse AI learning data utilization at any time, in which case there may be restrictions on the use of some personalized services.

2. Voice Data Processing

When using voice synthesis services for JTAC briefing training, text data is transmitted to voice synthesis companies.
The data is immediately deleted after voice synthesis completion, and personal information is not included.
Generated voice files are used only for educational purposes and are deleted upon user request.

3. Educational Information Processing

Information collected for educational purposes is strictly managed in accordance with related laws.
Information corresponding to sensitive or confidential matters applies separate security measures.
When necessary for coalition educational cooperation, information may be shared with related institutions in a limited manner.

4. Open-Source Based Service Declaration

AI4CE utilizes publicly available, non-classified AI models and educational content.
All information provided through the service is based on open-source materials and publicly available knowledge.
The service is designed to be safely accessible via web platforms without security concerns.
Users are strictly prohibited from inputting any classified, sensitive, or confidential information into the service.

5. Information Security and User Obligations

Users must ensure that all information entered into the service is non-classified and appropriate for public educational use.
Any attempt to input, extract, or disseminate classified or sensitive information through the service is strictly prohibited.
The Company reserves the right to immediately suspend service access upon detection of inappropriate information handling.
Users acknowledge that this service is intended solely for educational purposes using publicly available information.

본 개인정보 활용동의서는 EGCED, Inc.가 제공하는 AI4CE 국방 교육용 AI 서비스(이하 "서비스")를 제공하는 과정에서 개인정보보호법, 정보통신망 이용촉진 및 정보보호 등에 관한 법률 등 관련 법령에 따라 이용자의 개인정보를 보호하고 이와 관련된 고충을 신속하고 원활하게 처리할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 다음과 같이 개인정보 처리방침을 수립·공개합니다.

제1조 (개인정보의 처리목적)

AI4CE는 다음의 목적을 위하여 개인정보를 처리합니다. 처리하고 있는 개인정보는 다음의 목적 이외의 용도로는 이용되지 않으며, 이용 목적이 변경되는 경우에는 개인정보보호법 제18조에 따라 별도의 동의를 받는 등 필요한 조치를 이행할 예정입니다.

제2조 (개인정보의 처리 및 보유기간)

1. 개인정보 처리기간

AI4CE는 법령에 따른 개인정보 보유·이용기간 또는 정보주체로부터 개인정보를 수집 시에 동의받은 개인정보 보유·이용기간 내에서 개인정보를 처리·보유합니다.

2. 구체적인 개인정보 처리 및 보유기간

회원정보: 회원 탈퇴 시까지 (단, 관계법령 위반에 따른 수사·조사 등이 진행중인 경우에는 해당 수사·조사 종료 시까지)
교육 이력 정보: 3년 (군사교육 기록 보존 의무)
AI 학습 데이터: 5년 (서비스 품질 개선 목적)
음성 데이터: 1년 (TTS 서비스 개선 목적, 개인식별 불가능한 형태로 처리)
서비스 이용 기록: 3개월 (단, 관계법령에서 정한 보존기간이 있는 경우 해당 기간)

제3조 (개인정보의 수집항목 및 수집방법)

제4조 (개인정보의 제3자 제공)

1. 개인정보 제3자 제공 원칙

AI4CE는 정보주체의 개인정보를 제1조(개인정보의 처리목적)에서 명시한 범위 내에서만 처리하며, 정보주체의 동의, 법률의 특별한 규정 등 개인정보보호법 제17조 및 제18조에 해당하는 경우에만 개인정보를 제3자에게 제공합니다.

제5조 (개인정보처리 위탁)

1. 위탁업무의 내용과 수탁자

AI4CE는 원활한 개인정보 업무처리를 위하여 다음과 같이 개인정보 처리업무를 위탁하고 있습니다.

수탁업체: Supabase Inc.
위탁업무: 데이터베이스 관리 및 사용자 인증 서비스
개인정보 보유 및 이용기간: 위탁계약 종료 시까지

2. 위탁업무 관리·감독

AI4CE는 위탁계약 체결 시 개인정보보호법 제26조에 따라 위탁업무 수행목적 외 개인정보 처리금지, 기술적·관리적 보호조치, 재위탁 제한, 수탁자에 대한 관리·감독, 손해배상 등 책임에 관한 사항을 계약서 등 문서에 명시하고, 수탁자가 개인정보를 안전하게 처리하는지를 감독하고 있습니다.

제6조 (정보주체와 법정대리인의 권리·의무 및 행사방법)

1. 정보주체의 권리

정보주체는 AI4CE에 대해 언제든지 다음 각 호의 개인정보 보호 관련 권리를 행사할 수 있습니다.

2. 권리 행사 방법

제1항에 따른 권리 행사는 개인정보보호법 시행령 제41조제1항에 따라 서면, 전자우편, 모사전송(FAX) 등을 통하여 하실 수 있으며 AI4CE는 이에 대해 지체없이 조치하겠습니다.

3. 권리 행사 시 주의사항

정보주체가 개인정보의 오류 등에 대한 정정 또는 삭제를 요구한 때에는 AI4CE는 정정 또는 삭제를 완료할 때까지 당해 개인정보를 이용하거나 제공하지 않습니다.

제7조 (개인정보의 파기)

1. 파기원칙

AI4CE는 개인정보 보유기간의 경과, 처리목적 달성 등 개인정보가 불필요하게 되었을 때에는 지체없이 해당 개인정보를 파기합니다.

2. 파기절차

이용자가 입력한 정보는 목적 달성 후 별도의 DB에 옮겨져(종이의 경우 별도의 서류) 내부 방침 및 기타 관련 법령에 따라 일정기간 저장된 후 혹은 즉시 파기됩니다.
이 때, DB로 옮겨진 개인정보는 법률에 의한 경우가 아니고서는 다른 목적으로 이용되지 않습니다.

3. 파기방법

전자적 파일 형태의 정보는 기록을 재생할 수 없는 기술적 방법을 사용합니다.
종이에 출력된 개인정보는 분쇄기로 분쇄하거나 소각을 통하여 파기합니다.

제8조 (개인정보의 안전성 확보조치)

AI4CE는 개인정보보호법 제29조에 따라 다음과 같이 안전성 확보에 필요한 기술적/관리적 및 물리적 조치를 하고 있습니다.

1. 개인정보 취급 직원의 최소화 및 교육

개인정보를 취급하는 직원을 지정하고 담당자에 한정시켜 최소화하여 개인정보를 관리하는 대책을 시행하고 있습니다.

2. 정기적인 자체 감사 실시

개인정보 취급 관련 안정성 확보를 위해 정기적(분기 1회 이상)으로 자체 감사를 실시하고 있습니다.

3. 개인정보의 암호화

이용자의 개인정보는 비밀번호는 암호화되어 저장 및 관리되고 있어, 본인만이 알 수 있으며 중요한 데이터는 파일 및 전송 데이터를 암호화하거나 파일 잠금 기능을 사용하는 등의 별도 보안기능을 사용하고 있습니다.

4. 해킹 등에 대비한 기술적 대책

해킹이나 컴퓨터 바이러스 등에 의한 개인정보 유출 및 훼손을 막기 위하여 보안프로그램을 설치하고 주기적인 갱신·점검을 하며 외부로부터 접근이 통제된 구역에 시스템을 설치하고 기술적/물리적으로 감시 및 차단하고 있습니다.

5. 개인정보에 대한 접근 제한

개인정보를 처리하는 데이터베이스시스템에 대한 접근권한의 부여,변경,말소를 통하여 개인정보에 대한 접근통제를 위하여 필요한 조치를 하고 있으며 침입차단시스템을 이용하여 외부로부터의 무단 접근을 통제하고 있습니다.

제9조 (개인정보 보호책임자)

AI4CE는 개인정보 처리에 관한 업무를 총괄해서 책임지고, 개인정보 처리와 관련한 정보주체의 불만처리 및 피해구제 등을 위하여 아래와 같이 개인정보 보호책임자를 지정하고 있습니다.

2. 권익침해 구제방법

정보주체는 개인정보침해신고센터, 개인정보분쟁조정위원회, 대검찰청 사이버범죄수사단, 경찰청 사이버안전국 등에 개인정보 침해신고 및 상담을 문의하실 수 있습니다.

제10조 (개인정보 처리방침 변경)

1. 개정 고지

이 개인정보처리방침은 시행일로부터 적용되며, 법령 및 방침에 따른 변경내용의 추가, 삭제 및 정정이 있는 경우에는 변경사항의 시행 7일 전부터 공지사항을 통하여 고지할 것입니다.

2. 중요한 변경사항

개인정보의 수집·이용목적의 변경, 제3자 제공 대상의 변경 등 이용자 권리의 중요한 변경이 있을 경우에는 최소 30일 전에 고지하며, 필요시 동의를 다시 받을 수 있습니다.

제11조 (AI 서비스 특별 조항)

1. AI 학습 데이터 활용

서비스 이용 과정에서 생성되는 대화 내용은 AI 모델 학습 및 서비스 개선 목적으로 활용될 수 있습니다.
개인식별정보는 제거된 상태로 처리되며, 민감정보 또는 기밀정보에 해당하는 내용은 별도 필터링 과정을 거칩니다.
사용자는 언제든지 AI 학습 데이터 활용을 거부할 수 있으며, 이 경우 일부 개인화 서비스 이용에 제한이 있을 수 있습니다.

2. 음성 데이터 처리

JTAC 브리핑 훈련을 위한 음성 합성 서비스 이용 시, 텍스트 데이터가 음성 합성 업체에 전송됩니다.
음성 합성 완료 후 해당 데이터는 즉시 삭제되며, 개인정보는 포함되지 않습니다.
생성된 음성 파일은 교육 목적으로만 활용되며, 사용자의 요청 시 삭제됩니다.

3. 교육 관련 정보 처리

교육 목적으로 수집된 정보는 관련 법령에 따라 엄격히 관리됩니다.
민감정보 또는 기밀정보에 해당하는 정보는 별도의 보안 조치를 적용합니다.
연합군 교육 협력을 위해 필요한 경우, 관련 기관과 제한적으로 정보를 공유할 수 있습니다.

4. 공개 정보 기반 서비스 선언

AI4CE는 공개된 비기밀 AI 모델과 교육 콘텐츠를 활용합니다.
서비스를 통해 제공되는 모든 정보는 공개 자료 및 일반적으로 이용 가능한 지식을 기반으로 합니다.
서비스는 보안상 우려 없이 웹 플랫폼을 통해 안전하게 접근할 수 있도록 설계되었습니다.
사용자는 기밀정보, 민감정보 또는 비공개 정보를 서비스에 입력하는 것이 엄격히 금지됩니다.

5. 정보 보안 및 사용자 의무

사용자는 서비스에 입력하는 모든 정보가 비기밀이며 공개 교육용으로 적절한 정보임을 보장해야 합니다.
서비스를 통해 기밀정보나 민감정보를 입력, 추출 또는 유포하려는 모든 시도는 엄격히 금지됩니다.
회사는 부적절한 정보 처리가 감지될 경우 즉시 서비스 접근을 중단할 권리를 보유합니다.
사용자는 본 서비스가 공개된 정보를 활용한 교육 목적으로만 제공됨을 인정합니다.
사용자가 기밀정보 입력 금지 의무를 위반할 경우, 이로 인해 발생하는 모든 법적 책임은 사용자에게 있습니다.

본 개인정보 활용동의서는 2025년 1월 11일부터 적용됩니다.
